Sons....

My sons are 14 months apart but obviously have very different personalities.
They did both learn to make stuff and do stuff when they were growing up. And here is proof.

I think these photos from this week are just hilarious.
One son is wearing a camouflage Santa hat and ornaments in his beard.
The other is at an ugly sweater party and they are wearing shirts they embellished with fabric and iron on adhesive from me and bows and tiny ornaments from their grandmother.

Vote if you want but I must say my comments are not always working.
Do you prefer the super handyman redneck son's decorations or the attorney son who usually looks like he stepped out of GQ with the bows and teddy bears on his shirt?

Both are funny as can be!

Sorry for covering up the cute young woman's face but I don't know her and she may not approve having her photo blogged.

  2. haha...they are both super hilarious in their own way. My son would love the beard...we had a conversation today about how there are competitions for the best beards :)

  3. I have to vote that my favorite is the ornaments in the beard. However - the one with the ugly sweater must be the most crafty since that did take effort and growing a beard most any man can do, though it did take some thinking to come up with the decorations, which were probably stolen from the tree. So, yeah, the yuppie son gets my vote for the craftiest, but the bearded son gets my vote for my favorite festive party accessory.

  4. They are both cute! But for actual craftiness I would say the sweater son. Although, I like the bearded one better but I am biased. My husband has a fantastically long beard! Maybe I could get him to put ornaments in it, too :)
    Merry Christmas, Rhonda!

  5. Yuppie son's sweater is a little craftier, but I think your rustic son was very creative.

  7. Ohhh...how could I pick between two handsome, but different guys?! I guess I'd have to go with your bearded son only because my son has the same type of beard. :-)
