I look forward to your BEDA and catching up!

My MIL is cleaning out their basement, and gave me a set of old china that she inherited from an aunt. It's in great shape, so we'll probably use it for special meals. She gave Jessica a set of silver flatware they got as a wedding gift. With other things, she's set up a table in the garage and is going to have us all go through it and see what we want. I don't want anything, but Greg might, so I'll let him look. I didn't get emails from these posts and happened to spy that you had blog posts up via another blogger's timeline on the sidebar.

Oddly, Crinum lilies popped up in a flower bed at Katie's. I asked Mama when she planted them and I suppose it must have been squirrel planted but when no one knows. They hadn't put out leaves just the stem and flowers.

I've read through day five. I love when you blog, lol. I think of you often as I still use those dishtowels you made and sent years upon years ago every time I've got dough to roll out or rise, so you're very much part of my homemaking days. Hugs to you dear friend!

I know you'll miss Jimmy and family but hope they will be coming back and forth to home when you have guest space once more.

Don't melt in all that heat. We've had much the same here and I'm remembering why I tend to use my crockpot so much more in summer months than in winter ones!terricheneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06865436021565986224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4290836394516314441.post-7950097278608471212022-08-02T12:32:52.282-05:002022-08-02T12:32:52.282-05:00It is an old German saying about a wasteful wife. ...It is an old German saying about a wasteful wife. Rather insulting in today's world, but women were treated differently back then and not as equal as they are now. Cute scoop! I am sure you will enjoy it!

RonnieAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07432582697400943697noreply@blogger.com
