I may be jumping the gun on spring decorating but all this cold weather has me just a bit weary - so when I packed away the Valentines decorations this week, I got out some of our Easter things. The colorful eggs add some brightness and cheeriness, so even if Easter is 40 or so days way and it is still winter, it is starting to feel like spring - if only in my living room.
Hi Dear Friend,
ReplyDeleteI am so weary of cold weather too. I am so ready for warm weather and sunshine. It looks like we have a bit of sun today. I have been spring cleaning. More like spring decluttering. LOL Next week I am clean. :) I will write soon so we can get caught up.
Hugs,
Elizabeth
I love how you separated out the colors of eggs to fill your apothecary jars! Did you make the "Easter egg hunt" sign? I'm putting away all the Valentine and snowflake things today. Around here everyone is hoping hard for a tiny sign of Springtime, but to no avail. Still snow and cold temps forecast for at least the next 10 days. Argh.
ReplyDeleteI should be there to soak up some of your Easter cheeriness as feel rather weary today - have thought about Evelyn so much this day and how much she is missed....Love You, Mom
ReplyDeleteOh, you are funny! No, I'm not tired of it yet. But I don't let my mind go there as we will have winter until April here in Ohio. The snow is beautiful and I'm happy with my coziness. When spring finally gets here, I will be really ready, though! :)
ReplyDeleteAh yes, very anxious for Spring here too! Your Easter decorations are cute. :)
ReplyDeleteThe past few days here have felt like Spring and we are loving it. I took both dogs down to the beach yesterday. (Mental note:never bring both at the same time again)
ReplyDeleteWe are in preparation for the wearing o' the green around here. Being Irish, we, okay I, can't let St. Patrick's Day get forgotten!
Love, Love, Love the Easter Tree!
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm not ready for spring yet.
We have some winter to do first.
Summer is Hot here and because I live at the beach,I have Lots of company in the summer. Not ready to start that yet.
I am tired of the snow and mud but spring brings the mud too!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the eggs in the jars. Cute tree.
I would love to be able to open windows and let the fresh air in. And to see the spring blooms.
Amen to that last picture. :)
ReplyDeleteAmen to that last picture. :)
ReplyDeleteA Note From Mom: Just looked at your Easter tree again and it is gorgeous - you outdid yourself on that creation! RoRo
