It is time to put away the St. Patrick's decorations and get started with the Easter decorations. I will show those soon.
I have no idea how the pansies I planted back in the fall survived the extremely cold winter, but they mostly did and even seem to be thriving.
Colorful backyard
I mowed it for the first time this season. The lawn chairs got a fresh coat of spray paint, 2 are now black and the other 3 are red, blue and apple green.
With all the different color toddler toys, it seemed pointless to worry about everything matching.
our uncle went to the Denver Zoo and brought back these shirts for us.
Jeff and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary this week.
He gave me a big bouquet of pink roses,
He gave me a big bouquet of pink roses,
I baked him a cherry pie.
Gavin does not know what anniversaries are but he does know what pie is and he was very happy to have a little slice after we ate supper.
Congrats on the anniversary and how you "mowed" that snow away is amazing;-)
ReplyDeleteI hope the sun continues to shine so you all may enjoy your backyard.
blessings, jilly
Happy anniversary! I love the heart you baked into the pie! So sweet!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to both of you! Your pie looks delicious. Some of the bunnies came out at my house today. The rest should be out in the next few days.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!! We will be married 33 years in Sept. You are so much like me. Baking a pie for a gift. I think that is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how I found your blog but I love it. (I think I had googled Pyrex!) Whenever I get a little lazy, I just think...If you do stuff, stuff gets done...and all of sudden I am up and working! You inspire me. Keep up the great work in your home and on your blog. I really enjoy reading your posts!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!!!!! Cherry pie is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGrandkids are so cute. Isn't it a great feeling to be outside doing a few things!!! I have my plastic chairs that I need to use the Mr. Clean pads on and see how they faired the winter. Pansies always amaze me too how they can come back. Use to have a planter that I always filled with them and they would sometimes reappear.
Congratulations on 31 years together! I love hearing about people's anniversaries. Seems so rare these days that people stay together so long.
ReplyDeleteYour dog is adorable! Grandkids are pretty cute, too!
Congrats on reaching a milestone! I love the needlepoint bunny and green hat. I also love pansies. My favourite flower. Yours look pretty good!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! :)
