Use your gadgets - part 2
During my decluttering, I found this Pampered Chef stoneware pan tucked under some other bakeware.
I've been making all our bread since Christmas in the new breadmaker, it makes very nice bread but the loaf is huge.
Well, one batch of bread dough is the exact amount needed to make 4 little loaves in this pan.
I just make the dough in the machine, then take it out and divide it. After it rises, the little loaves get baked in the regular oven. This size loaf is much more practical when just my husband and I are here. I sliced each loaf and froze the extra in ziploc bags.
Hi Rhonda,
ReplyDeleteI got out my stand mixer this morning to make cupcakes. Thank you for your friendship.
It is amazing what we find when we declutter. I have some hidden treasures too.
Hugs,
Elizabeth
I have that loaf pan too!It was a gift from my MIL a few years ago. Like using it but it is at the back of a high cabinet currently since I haven't been baking bread.
ReplyDeleteYour bread looks delicious!
Brilliant! I wish I had that pan. Do you make your pizza dough in the breadmaker too? I do. I also make cinnamon rolls with the dough starting in the bread machine on the manual setting. I am going back to read your old post to see what else you are cooking!
ReplyDeleteJulie, I do use the breadmaker to do the mixing and kneading, it just does such a nice job. I have used the Kitchenaid and done it by hand but I prefer the bread machine.
DeleteI've been in a hectic phase, and am just now catching up on your posts. Enjoyed them, and am glad to see your granddaughter is doing better! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rhonda, I knew you had not blogged in a long time and was wondering about you. It is nice hear from you
DeleteWhat a wonderful little bread pan. I would love one like that. I am going to bake bread this week, my husband found a recipe that he thought sounded good.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful evening.
Hugs, Cindy
What a great idea, my bread recipe makes 2 loaves sometimes I do one regular the other cinnamon rasin. I will now do 2 mini sweet loaves, Thanks for the idea!!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic bread pan, very economical to bake four smaller loaves instead a one large one........I wonder if I could source a similar pan here in the UK.
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful gadget...and you sure are the smart one, making bread since Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteThey look delicious!
ReplyDeleteInteresting what we forget we have when we go to clear things out. When I'm feeling things are a little tight and maybe I can't get all the things I'd like to get, I start going through what I already have been blessed with and I forget about my crazy thoughts. :) Like Debbie said, your bread looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteRhonda, good morning. I have 4 loaves that I am baking this a.m.. Taking 3 to work for my branch and 2 to another branch and 1 for home. I made honey butter last night for them too. Woke up at 2 and did the bread besides when getting up at 4:30. Back in bed by 2:30. Glad to hear that your GD is doing okay. She is a cutie!!! Love your cleaning list. We went thru our closet and drawers Sat. night and Sunday. My room is still a wreck sorting papers and such. Off tom. so that should improve it greatly!!! Hoping nobody changes my plans. Take Care my friend.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really cool bread pan! I don't remember even seeing that one through Pampered Chef.
