I cooked a new to us recipe from Pinterest tonight, Grilled Chicken Tenders, Without the Grill.
It's a simple recipe- just chicken with 1 cup of Italian dressing and a little honey and lime juice.
As the first blogger describes, it really looks like a mess when it starts cooking but as it cooks, the liquid cooks off and the flavor goes in the chicken.
My chicken did not get as dark as the first blogger's photos but we liked it a lot and will cook it again.

ReplyDeleteWhile I have never used the honey and lime juice, Italian dressing is an awesome dressing for grilling with. Chicken or steaks that have been marinated in Italian dressing then cooked on the grill is delicious!

ReplyDelete:) I switched all our dishes to white corelle a while back. We have those divided plates in 2 sizes, platters, dinner and sandwich plates, 4 sizes of bowls. I like them so much as they are not heavy and all match.

Hi Jill, those are whole frozen green beans from Aldi. We like them a lot. They come in a pound bag and each bag yields quite a few servings.

ReplyDeleteIt would be a great work night meal, just start the marinating in the morning and then let the chicken cook while you do other things in the evening.
