My grandparent's bread recipe makes 4 little loaves that fit perfectly in my 4 little Pyrex loaf pans.
You can still use this recipe even if you have not collected Pyrex. Just bake it in 2 regular loaf pans and it will be just as delicious. It might not be as cute, but then everyone does not always care if their bread is cute, do they?
we will be having some tomorrow at breakfast, toasted with crockpot apple butter. yum!
Hi Rhonda,
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy. I am going to bake bread tomorrow to go with a pot of Veggie Beef soup.
Miss Candi sends Theo wags and licks.

Your apple butter recipe was so good, I will certainly try this one.
ReplyDeleteThanks again.

I love cute bread!:-) And those pans are adorable. I have an old clear dish (may be Pyrex)that looks about the same size and shape as yours. Makes the cutest mini loaves!
ReplyDeleteI love that bread and it is so easy! Have made your recipe a few times. While I was fixing Ryan's coat last night I had him on e-bay looking at pyrex dishes. They had some. That pot on your stove I got for a Christmas gift but seems like I put it in a rummage sale or to good will.
ReplyDeleteFreshly baked bread always looks soooooo good!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely yummy! Love those little colored pans. I remember those. They must be from the 60s???
ReplyDeleteYour bread does look absolutely darling!!! Those have to be the cutest little bread pans I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
This is very cute bread. I just went and looked at your grandparents' bread recipe. I am definitely going to be giving this a try.
ReplyDeleteYour homemade bread looks delicious! And yes, the pyrex makes it look all the cuter. :)

ReplyDeleteThat looks so good, and love all the pyrex dishes lined up. :) Lyn
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL! Both the bread and the pyrex. The baker is pretty special too!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! How cute are those loaf pans! Better hide them if I show up on your doorstep...lol. And I would love to with freshly baked bread and apple butter on the menu.
