It is a beautiful day and I put our flags out early.
Today is a special day as it is the 60th anniversary of our current Pledge of Allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for all.

You know, I find it a little hard for me to see how unpatriotic most of the people are in my area. I flew my flag daily last year (weather permitting) for my nephew when he was in Afghanistan. I honestly believe many have their heads in a hole in the ground to what is really going on in our country and world. If it doesn't pertain to Montana, they don't give a hoot.
ReplyDeleteLast we bought a trombone for $60, sold it for $80 if is worth $200 and will go to a needy family. My favorite find though was veggie fertilizer for the garden for 50 cents sells for $5 . Too fun.
