Hello everyone
We were up and out in our garage and driveway early this morning. I did some of the work but my husband and son did the majority of it.
We pretty much just had a assortment of odds and ends to sell.
When we were too hot and tired, we moved the leftovers to the end of our driveway and marked it free. Most all was picked up fairly fast.
There was so little left that it was easy to deal with.
I walked to few of the neighbors who were also having sales.

Any of you yardsale today? I like hearing about treasures and bargains.
I haven't had a garage sale the last few years. I sell things on eBay and Craigslist. I probably should but don't want to give up a full day or weekend to do one.

we took in more than we expected, we didn't really have any big ticket items so we were happy in the end
DeleteThis weekend was the yearly county wide sale. Obie and I visited a few, and we found a couple of bargains.
ReplyDeleteYard sales run in my blood. I enjoy going to them and have for umpteen years. The things I have hauled home!

ReplyDeleteLooks like you did well. I love how you set out your free stuff -wish I could drop by! I found a new to me cabinet to hold my detergent yesterday for $10.00. I found other things as well but that remains my favorite find last week.

ReplyDeleteyes and they are brand new. They wont fit any of my grands right now but they will fit one of the boys by next summer.
DeleteI love a good yard sale but I find I spend money on things I don't really need because they are such good deals, so I am trying to avoid them right now. I have enough, enough of everything.
ReplyDeleteGoodness looks like you had some great finds at the yard sales, as usual. I haven't been to a yard sale in AGES. I miss them. I love that you put the leftovers out for free. We aren't allowed to have yard sales in our neighborhood here so when I have bit items i need to get rid of, I put them by the curb. I've never had anything stay there more than an hour or 2.
