Hello friends
I’m fine, just been busy over the summer and doing some relaxing over the summer.
I hope you all have had some relaxing time too.
The manager heard him and came over and said, kind of quiet, “anything with a clearance tag is .50 for you at the checkout”.
There were so much clearance and we bought lots!
It pays to be friendly to the workers at stores you frequent.
All the plants piled on this picnic table were .50 each!
I’m still meal prepping and I guess I was doing this way before it was so cool/
This is pretty typical food prep at our home _ a big salad, hard cooked eggs, orange juice made from frozen concentrate because it’s much cheaper that way and a frozen berry sorbet.
And I’m afraid I’m guilty of saying this and meaning the same thing ๐
All the yellow plants were .50
I have a new device that so far, is making blogging much smoother.
So, I hope to get back to regular posts.
I've also gotten sweet deals at the Lowe's garden department by asking nicely.
ReplyDeleteAll those flowers for .50 each.... what a deal!!! I'm jealous. The pampered chef pan was a lucky deal, too. I hope you are enjoying your summer.
ReplyDeleteI was asking about markdown at Lowe's and the guy asked what I wanted and then asked me what I wanted to pay. I got one pot for half off. But, your flowers looks so beautiful like they are not dying markdowns. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteOh my word! What a deal on the flowers, Rhonda. I've been so busy studying for my state exam, I haven't had time to do any blog reading. I decided to visit some tonight as a break. I'm glad to hear you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteWow! You sure hit the jackpot with all those flowers! They are all so beautiful. I haven't seen such nice one left around here, hence I don't have any. Our spring was too cold and wet to even think about plants until almost too late. Nice deals on the cookware as well. I will be over soon to have a muffin or two.
ReplyDeleteLowes has been good to me when it comes to clearance plants! Happy for your haul of beautiful plants.
ReplyDeleteThe colors and tastes of summer!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing! All those plants! I think I need to take a trip to Lowe's, just to see what they have. I need hostas.
ReplyDeleteWowza - what a deal on the plants. You did great - I would have bought a bunch as well.
ReplyDeleteI love all your potted plants! You have at least two green thumbs. :)
ReplyDeletePlants for 50 cents - wow! I need to start asking around! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that little sign and am guilty of that very sentiment. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI have done this same thing at Home depot and my whole yard is done in mark down plants. Good for you. Now you have to water....
ReplyDeleteWhat an unexpected blessing on your flowers! And they are so pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteYour sorbet and salad both look yummy.
