3 grands will be here some this week and then they start school Thursday.
We had scrambled eggs and English muffins for breakfast because on my Walmart pickup order, they were out of the 1 package of name brand muffins I ordered so they substituted 6 packages of Great Value muffins instead, for the price of the 1 name brand package.
That’s a lot of muffins, right?
The 3 grands that are here today attend a brand new school that was just completed during last school year.
The architect firm took some professional photos to showcase their work.
Because my daughter is a school employee, she signed up her children to model.
Isn’t that an amazing elementary library? It’s a shame the virus is keeping it from being used.
Have a good Monday everyone!
So many of you have left the sweetest comments. I’m glad my blog brings some help and happiness to you.
Thank you all for your kind words.

Wow! Six packages of English muffins. You can always make mini pizzas from them. They are so easy to make!! We used to make them all the time when we had children at home. I let them do the work. YUM!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous happy looking school! Why were ours always institutional green? Wonderful deal on those muffins! I have already been out cutting some bushes. On to housework! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOh I meant to ask if you would show your quilt?
ReplyDeleteHow cool on the muffin switch out! Huge savings. That is some fancy looking school. Hope all stay safe.
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful school..I can't wait for this virus to be over so they can enjoy school again.
ReplyDeleteI bought Great Value English muffins during the crunch of the early Covid days.....that was all that was there! I liked them! Now I buy them as my first choice. I bought their cinnamon raisin bread for the same reason, and it is great! I guess it is good to be forced to try new things!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful school. Glad to see the models wearing masks. We use the Great Value English Muffins for quick pizzas for lunch or snack when grands are here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful school and I like how the models are wearing masks. The grands here love making individual pizzas with the English muffins for lunch or a snack.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful school! I am pretty sure I would have been miffed about 6 pkg of English muffins but you are so creative in the kitchen that I am sure they will be put to good use. I really enjoyed your house tour. Everything looks so comfortable and like home. So many homes these days do not seem comfortable to me at all.
ReplyDeleteWow - what an incredible school library! Looks like a wonderful new school building.
ReplyDeleteI've had them make substitutions in my Walmart grocery orders, but never as good as your english muffins. Breakfast sandwiches for the freezer, mini pizzas, Eggs Benedict for Sunday breakfast. Yum!
I love your to-do list decorated with stamps and washy tape. :)
ReplyDeleteLucky you that the English muffins freeze so well!
ReplyDeleteThe new school is gorgeous
Goodness! That's a proper substitution! The school library is lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful library in your grandchildren's school! School will be so different this year for everyone...kids, parents, teachers. I'm not sure what our school district here decided to do with school...I don't know if it's in-person or remote or a combination.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week!
What a fabulous school library. Many good memories will be made there by happy smiling kids.
ReplyDeleteGreat score on the English muffins!
