Ever since I heard about it, this song has been playing in my head and I have watched both of these on Youtube almost daily
Star of Bethlehem with lyrics in captions
And Star of Bethlehem sung by 3 young sisters
We are planning to watch the southwest sky around sunset tonight and I just might keep listening to Star of Bethlehem whenever I want
Merry Christmas everyone
❤️Rhonda
Star of Bethlehem is such a beautiful song, but I don't hear it much. Wonder why?
ReplyDeleteI love this song. My mom used to sing & the first video sounds like my mom.
ReplyDeleteMy husband & I have been going out every clear evening for at least a month now to see Saturn & Jupiter move closer together. It's pretty amazing to think about. I know it's called the Christmas star but I haven't thought of it as the real Christmas star.
I saw it tonight and it is pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteMe and my daughter sang a duet of that song in church with my husband accompanying on the banjo. I love that song and everytime I heard about the "star" I couldn't wait to see it. We were so cloudy last night nothing was visible. They say we may have a chance tonight.
ReplyDeleteThe Jupiter/Saturn star was so beautiful and bright last night...we enjoyed it after sunset in Southwest Florida. Love that we all are seeing the same blessing, wherever we are.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely old hymn. One of my fondest memories is of singing that with my Granny when I was four or five years old...
ReplyDeleteWe were really grateful for clear skies to be able to see the planets! The heavens declare God's glory.
ReplyDeleteWe drove out on the country roads to see, but there were clouds. Later, people were able to see it, but we were tucked inside having supper by then, and didn't realize. We did get to see a gorgeous sunset, though!
