June 2 - Perfect day for yard work

Our temperature is in the low 70s with just enough breeze.  

The yard is all mowed and edged for another week or so.  

Now I'm just resting before I get cleaned up.  

I think I'll sew a little this afternoon. 

The new sandbox has a cover and we keep it covered unless the grands are playing it.  

I've never seen any feral cats in our neighborhood.  The cover is mostly to keep out all the rain we've had this spring.  

Speaking of sewing,  one of my favorite British television shows has a new season of The Great British Sewing  Bee.  There are good versions of all 3 episodes so far of the current season on YouTube.  

They are about an hour long so you will need to find a stretch of time to view them.

June 1 - starting the month with a To-Do List

Hello everyone,  

My days are a little less busy as my school age grandchildren and their parents who work the school calendar are off for the summer.  Which means I have more free days.  

I've rested some and now am back to my regular homemaking tasks.  

Below is my hope to do list for this week and some tasks will stretch into June.  

Decorated with snails and bees- because sometimes I feel like a busy bee, but sometimes I feel like a snail.  😄
