Today was a quiet, uneventful day at home. We’ve had a busy week or so with full days and it was nice to not do much except get all the laundry caught up.
I finished this tricky puzzle.
Have any of you ever grown plants in old shoes?
Two of my favorite YouTube channels are doing VEDA - a vlog everyday.
Hillary is a young mom of 3 expecting her 4th. She is so organized with a pretty home all done on a budget. Her children are adorable too.
Heidi lives in a WV with her husband who is blind. Her children are all grown and live in another state now.
She was one of the first YouTube channels I watched way back when I discovered YouTube.
I’d love to know your YouTube favorites.

I have an old workbook that had flowers for years. It belonged to my late gardening buddy/friend who passed very suddenly years ago.
ReplyDeleteIt no longer has flowers - but I still have it.
Cute puzzle.
Our park has a children's section and they have old shoes with plants that the kids planted.
I have not been able to get into vlogs. I know there are some good ones out there but I just can't seem to sit still long enough to watch them. I'd much rather read blogs.
ReplyDeleteYou got it together, good for you. I meant the puzzle...:0
ReplyDeleteI'm really enjoying watching Japanese and Korean vlogs right now. A typical day in the life of a single, working woman who lives alone : Nami is her name, I think....Nami's Life. Card-making vlogs like France Martin's and Jackie Bolhuis'; Hamimommy is a young Korean wife/mom. Very interesting to me to see how these people live. I've learned a lot of cleaning tips from the Korean ladies. Another Korean one I like is : tthne. She cooks, crochets and cleans. I've learned how to make some yummy Asian noodle dishes from Marion's Kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a few, but I don't watch tv and haven't been in the mood to read lately.
Your puzzle does look tricky. Hope this comment posts - most of them don't make it ;-/

I'm liking the simple quiet Korean vlogs.

Mennonite Mom
and most recently the American Aristocrat (he husband will be the next Earl of Sandwich.)
Not every day but when I have time, this is what I watch.
I've watched Hillary's YT channel now and again. Mandy in the Making and Dorsett's Doorstep are two homemaking channels I watch, along with some thrift-store renovation channels and a few cooking channels. I might watch a few videos in the evenings, but try to stay away from YT during the day, or I end up watching for a few hours and accomplishing not much. Lol.
